LOGISTICS

  • After you have picked out your puppy, you will need to let us know that you wish to enroll in one of our training programs, unless you have previously let us know.

  • We will then match your puppy with us or with one of our other trainers based on availability. At which point full payment is due. This will include the price of the puppy as well as the specified amount for training.

  • Once your puppy turns eight weeks old it will reside in our home or in the home of the assigned trainer for the duration of the training time.

  • Pictures and videos with updates on your puppy will be posted on our Facebook and Instagram Training pages. So be sure to follow those to see the updates.

  • After the training sessions are over, you will be provided with a comprehensive report outlining the behaviors and commands your puppy has mastered, along with a structured schedule and routine that your puppy is accustomed to. This will serve as a guide to help you seamlessly integrate your furry friend into your daily life, ensuring a smooth and successful transition for both you and your puppy.

  • During the first few weeks, you may notice some adjustment challenges as the puppies are still very young. It is normal for them to take time to settle in and get used to their new environment. With patience and guidance, they will gradually adapt and become more comfortable. Remember to provide them with love and care as they navigate this transition period.

  • If your puppy has not met our goals and expectations by the end of their enrolled training, you will have the option for them to remain in training free of charge until they have satisfied the expectation. We understand that every dog learns at its own pace, and we are committed to ensuring that your puppy receives the necessary support and guidance to succeed. Our trainers will work tirelessly with your puppy to help them reach their full potential, no matter how long it takes. Your pet's progress and development are our top priorities, and we will do everything in our power to help them succeed.

GOALS

  • Name recognition: puppy will know it's name and respond when name is said

  • Crate training: sleeping through the night for at least 6 hours without accidents

  • Potty training: puppy will have established a potty schedule and will have minimal accidents within one week

  • Leash work: puppy will walk comfortable on a leash

  • Car rides: puppy will be comfortable with car rides and not be motion sick

  • Commands: Puppy will know commands, "Sit", "Down", "Kennel",  and will be introduced to"Come", "Leave it", "Stay"

  • Socialization: puppy will be socialized with other dogs, cats, extended family members and farm noises.

  • Impulse Control: puppy will begin to learn impulse control when it comes to feeding time, treats, meeting new people.

We cannot make guarantees beyond our facility but our Puppy Training Program supports new home training and makes it easier for new owners in the first months. Most puppies are not completely trusted with potty training until at least four months of age. New owners will need to continue potty training at home. The success of potty training and commands will depend on the consistency of the new owner. Additionally, establishing a routine and schedule for feeding, bathroom breaks, and playtime can help set a foundation for successful training. Building a strong bond with your puppy through regular interaction and positive reinforcement can also aid in their learning and development.
